About the Education Day
Our annual Patient Education Day is designed specifically for people living with Neuroendocrine Cancer (NETs), as well as their whānau, friends, and support networks. This is a free, full-day event brings together leading medical experts, wellbeing professionals, and the wider NET community for a meaningful day of learning, connection, and support.

- Cost: We aim to keep this event free event for patients, whānau and support people. Morning tea and lunch are included.
- Healthcare professionals are welcome to attend. A small registration fee helps to cover costs.

You can look forward to a curated programme featuring NET specialists, oncologists, nurses, and facilitators who will share knowledge around treatment, care, and support for people living with NETs.
- Wellbeing Workshops – Get practical tips on managing anxiety, physical wellbeing, mindfulness, and more.
- NET MDM - A Multidisciplinary Meeting (MDM) is a weekly gathering of healthcare professionals from different specialties who come together to discuss the best possible care for people with Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs). See first hand how they review test results, scans, and treatment options to develop a comprehensive and personalised care plan for each patient.
- Patient Stories – Be inspired by personal journeys from people living with NETs.
- Connection & Community – Meet others who understand what you’re going through in a supportive and safe environment.
