Neuroendocrine Cancer NZ respects the privacy and confidentiality of all its patients, friends and supporters. The Foundation is committed to its requirements under the Privacy Act 1993.
Neuroendocrine Cancer NZ maintains a public Privacy Policy Statement that tells patients, friends and supporters:

Collection of Personal and Health Information
We collect personal and health information provided by you when you come to our patient and supporter meetings, register with our website, correspond with us, give us a donation, sign up for one of our campaigns, meetings or events, by placing an order through our online shop or signing up for our newsletters.
Information Management
We use your personal information to process your requests or transactions and to keep you informed about upcoming events, campaigns, news or other information that may be of interest to you. Your information is used to help identify you. Recording of your health status and your treatment and care, so that we can support you and share health information with you.
As a condition of employment, Neuroendocrine Cancer NZ’s contractors and volunteers are expected to respect the confidentiality of information and the privacy of individuals.
Neuroendocrine Cancer NZ will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information it collects, uses, retains or discloses is accurate, complete, and up to date. With your consent we may share health information with the hospital or medical staff treating and caring for you to assist with treatment; and
Your personal information may be accessible to our contracted service providers and suppliers, which assist us with producing and delivering our products and services, operating our business, and marketing, promotion and communications. These suppliers are required to uphold our privacy policy.

Neuroendocrine Cancer NZ holds personal information in a combination of secure computer and network storage facilities and paper-based files, and takes steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
