Neuroendocrine Cancer New Zealand has held dedicated NET nurse workshops in Auckland and Christchurch in the past.
These workshops have helped to raise the profile of neuroendocrine cancer, foster greater knowledge and involvement and helped ensure best practice care for patients with NET cancers.

To date, my clinical knowledge regarding this type of tumour has been relatively limited, so this was a valuable opportunity to up-skill.
