Our annual Patient Education days, are a free full-day event designed for people living with neuroendocrine cancer (NETs), their whānau, and support networks.

It's a chance to connect with medical experts, wellbeing professionals, and the wider NET community through informative sessions, wellbeing workshops, inspiring patient stories, and a behind-the-scenes look at a NET Multidisciplinary Meeting (MDM). This is a unique opportunity to learn, share, and build connections in a supportive environment.

Testimonials from previous attendees:

“I came to the study day with a little knowledge, I really enjoyed the day, gained more knowledge, and networked with other nurses. Attending this study day has been a positive experience and renewed my passion for caring for NET patients.”

“I have learned so much from this study day. There is a lot of new information to absorb including great knowledge from the presenters from many specialties. I met many of the nurses from all over New Zealand who has so much knowledge and experience and have developed a good network as a result. After this study day I feel more confident in this topic and understand the patient pathway from diagnosis to treatment process. I feel more confident and comfortable prepping these patients into our clinics and supporting them in their journey. I found this study event was so inspiring for my nursing career."
